Walden Security was founded in 1990 by Michael S. and Amy Walden. Michael S. Walden began his career in the military, serving seven years in the Navy. Returning home to Chattanooga, TN, he joined the Chattanooga Police Department (CPD) working both patrol and narcotics. There, he met his wife, Amy, a CPD dispatcher. Together, they saw a need for a security company that offered comprehensive security services and was staffed by a team of dedicated employees, held to the highest standard. They began Walden Security to fill that need.
Now, 35 years later, Walden Security is the nation’s largest privately-owned security company, with over 8,000 employees in 49 states, the District of Columbia and four U.S. Territories. We measure our success not only by our performance and standards but also by how we care for our clients and employees.
